This is an outdated list of little adventures I've been to in engineering.

Micron Technology, Imagination Technologies, and HiAccel Lab
Hmm… The world ended in March 2020. We are all ghosts today. Or, well, were at least supposed to be, instead of the loves ones that became ghosts.
Fault Tolerance on Network-On-Chips
I spent a major part of my junior year working under Dr. Soumya J’s guidance. Her research on Network On Chips seemed fascinating to me because the potential of NoCs seemed to be a leap in the future of system organisation.
Poly Potential Portable Potentiostat
Edit: This research has now been published in the ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology.

A Brief History of Linux
As engaging as the history of the creation of Linux is, it is also a stark reminder of the fact of how impressively seemingly-orthogonal events conspired towards the birth of the open-source revolution.
VLC Sync on MQTT
Please view the VMS (VLC MQTT Sync) project here.
VMS is a Python utility to keep multiple devices playing the same video file in sync, using MQTT. VMS has a very small network footprint, and works reliably well in situations of limited network bandwidth.

De-bricking A Router
One of my friends brought in a router (TL-WR841N v9) today, which was apparently bricked.
It had failed while installing openWRT.
My friend had already tried hooking up serial wires from the UART channel on the router to an Arduino Uno Board (a decent jugaad for an...
Faster ADC
Yesterday, I found myself in a situation where I had to get an Arduino Nano to write some data in an SD card as fast it could.
The aim was to pull strings on Arduino’s timings, and not the write delay on the SD card.
EasyMouse
Recently, after playing CS 1.6 (judge me all you can) for around 3 hours, I felt some discomfort in my wrist, and WebMD proudly suggested Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
This is a common problem with people who are involved in desk-work, working with a traditionally designed mouse (correctly, a...
